Warms between your fingertips and melts at skin temperature, carrying the soft, natural scent of Utah beeswax: faint honey and wildflower, nothing added. Absorbs without heaviness, just clean, immediate hydration.

Three ingredients, each selected by an environmental scientist and validated by peer-reviewed research. The sunflower oil is high-oleic and regeneratively grown, chosen deliberately for where this is made. At 7,000 feet, oils oxidize faster under stronger UV, and a rancid oil on skin does more harm than good. High-oleic sunflower resists that breakdown while carrying six times the vitamin E of olive oil, conditioning and protecting the barrier rather than degrading on it. Beeswax from Utah hives creates a breathable seal that holds moisture without suffocating. Botanical glycerin draws hydration from the air around you.

HOW TO USE

Warm a small amount between fingertips until completely melted. Press gently into clean skin — face, body, lips, cuticles, anywhere needing moisture. A little goes a long way. Use morning, evening, or both.

BARRIER was born from my son's eczema and my frustration with products full of ingredients I couldn't defend. As an environmental scientist, I knew that fewer, better ingredients would outperform complex formulations: I'd seen this principle work in ecosystems and wanted to apply it to skin. The beeswax comes from Utah hives foraging on wildflowers across the Wasatch. The sunflower oil is high-oleic and regeneratively grown, chosen for its oxidative stability at our altitude and its zero comedogenic rating. Three ingredients, nothing standing in for the landscape where we make it. This is the balm I reach for every day and the one I trust on my family's skin.
